The Healthcare Solutions Manager mandate will comprise of launching new products while continuing to support established products into the Canadian Hospitals, Centers of Excellence and select Private Clinics in their assigned territory.
The incumbent will need to be comfortable interacting with medical specialists in several therapeutic areas. They will be cognizant about the IMC code of conduct and will have experience in working with high ethical standards and within general pharmaceutical compliance regulations. He/she will need to be self-starters and demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial attitude with the ultimate goal of improving patient care in their assigned region.
To reach corporate objectives, the incumbent will also need to demonstrate strategic and analytic abilities as well as identify which internal stakeholders are needed as support. The HSM will also be called to work in collaboration with several internal stakeholders which will require the ability to work in cross functional teams.
Paladin is currently recruiting a Healthcare Solutions Manager (HSM) ideally based in Ontario.

Finally, he works collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders, which requires the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Specific Responsibilities

Inform Healthcare professionals (HCP) about the latest safety public information and facilitate adverse events management by educational activities and intra/interdisciplinary consultations and/or trainings.

Inform HCPs about efficacy, administration particularities and monitoring requirements of the assigned products according to labeling guidelines.

Assess account potential and identify key stakeholders for each product (i.e. Physicians, nurses, pharmacists, allied health workers, CFO, management, etc.).

Map centers of influence for the relevant medical specialties, facilitate interactions between stakeholders, and understand hospital formulary listing processes.

Understand hospital to hospital influence and identify patient flows and referral patterns.

Understand political, financial and logistical imperatives that can either improve or hinder patient access to ideal therapy.

Conduct all required product and disease training.

Manage assigned product budgets in accordance with corporate strategy.

Candidate Profile
Required
-
University degree in science, health science, pharmacy or business.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company or hospital in healthcare professional facing roles or as a representative for specialty products.

Experience working with MSLs, Market Access and Patient Support Programs.

Excellent oral and written communication in English.

Good understanding of IMC code of conduct and compliance framework.

Good understanding of individual rights to privacy.

Advanced understanding of private and public reimbursement landscape.
