Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Director General
- Manage entire accounting and reporting process of Brome and other related companies.
- Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures.
- Key role in HR management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Controller, or in a similar role within the imports/distribution industry.
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Strong communication skills
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance (GAAP, IFRS, etc.)
- Leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of accounting software - Sage, Simply Accounting, and Bluelink or similar ERP.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CA, CPA designation a plus
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Bilingual
- Work in Knowlton, Quebec office
