K2 Stone Quarries, a division of The Hazelwood Group, is seeking Labourers to join the team at our production facility in South Nanaimo, BC. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with overtime available. Occasional weekend availability will also be needed.
The ideal candidate for this position must be motivated, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have exemplary time management and safety awareness.
(Note: Reliable transportation is needed as we are not accessible by transit.)

- $20 per hour for day shift
- $22 per hour for evening shift (3:30pm - 12:00 am)

Summary
We are seeking individuals who are prepared to undertake physically demanding tasks and contribute to our ongoing commitment to safety and quality by operating various machinery such as stone splitters, veneer saws, and trim saws. Labourers will be responsible for a range of operations involving the utilization of different equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery, such as stone splitters, veneer saws, and trim saws, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in various tasks related to stone quarrying and processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a manual labor position is preferred.
- A safety-conscious attitude and approach to work.
- A good attitude and great attention to detail.
- CSA-approved steel-toed boots.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
