We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to became a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Label and record dosage information
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Maintain and control the cash register in the dispensary
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields is an asset
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $33,592.00-$43,472.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
