ALLWELD Manufacturing Ltd. is excited to announce the addition of a Waterjet to its portfolio of manufacturing equipment. While providing a wide range of services, ALLWELDs primary focus is building tanks used in the transportation of bulk oil, fuel, and water throughout Canada.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
ALLWELD is seeking an energetic individual to operate our newly acquired CNC Waterjet table. The individual hired for this position will be responsible for daily operations of the table along with the design, preventative maintenance and the attention to detail required to produce parts meeting ALLWELDs quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to allow for proper design
- Design, and prepare files to be loaded into the Waterjet so that the machine can perform the correct functions
- Load and remove raw materials into the machine and set-up to allow for processing
- Supervise the machine as it fulfills its program
- Inspect and measure the finished product to ensure it matches design requirement and meets ALLWELDs quality standards
- Perform preventative maintenance on the machine (alignment, pump maintenance, nozzle replacement, calibrations)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of High School Diploma
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator - Waterjet considered an asset
- Skills in operating machinery, precision measurement tools, and hand tools
- Strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills
- Welding experience considered an asset
- Computer skills with a basic understanding of CAD
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Capable of reading and understanding mechanical drawings
- Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs
COMPENSATION:
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$32.00 per hour
