Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Human Resources Administrator to join our growing and ever-changing organization located in Edmonton, AB (YEG). The position is hybrid allowing the successful candidate to work from home and also report to the company's head office located at the Edmonton airport. This is a entry level position reporting to Sr. Manager, Human Resources, the HR Administrator is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative support services to the Human Resources department. The duties range from complex to routine and are often confidential in nature.
Primary Job Functions:
The duties of the HR Administrator include:

Monitoring HR inbox daily, responding to general inquiries and notifying team of any communications relevant to their business units.

Maintaining employee data records in the human resources information system (HRIS) and regularly audit for accuracy and compliance.

Supporting semi-monthly payroll by ensuring all employee data records are updated in a consistent and timely manner.

Maintaining employee electronic files and records.

Managing employee benefits plan administration.

Collecting employee data, surveys and running reports as requested.

Assisting with the preparation and coordination of New Hire Orientation and various training programs to all employees and various levels within the organization as required.

Supporting new employee onboarding and offboarding through preparing onboarding materials, including ID cards, scheduling and conducting employee check-ins and exit interviews.

Compiling large amounts of data into reports to be shared with various stakeholders throughout the organization.

Providing clerical and administrative support, including booking meetings, photocopying, filing, preparation of presentations, letters and reports, as required.

Ensuring confidentiality of information and materials is maintained.

Other duties as assigned by the company from time to time.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent;
-
Post-secondary certificate in Human Resources, Office Administration, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;

Minimum of 1 year directly related work experience;

Clear criminal record check;
Required Competencies:
-
Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite, presentation software, email, and web browsers;

Previous experience working with an HRIS or HRMS, with preference given to those with previous experience with ADP;

General knowledge of labour law and Employment Standards;

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and activities in a fast-paced environment and deadline-driven environment;

Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and problem-solve;

Self-motivated with strong organizational, multitasking, and administrative skills;

Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality on a daily basis;
-
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
