The Job
- Experience Repairing, Servicing and Diagnosing Deep Foundation Drilling, Cranes, Pilling and Tieback Drilling Equipment. (Soil Mec, Bauer, Casagrande, Liebherr etc.)
- Experience Repairing, Servicing and Diagnosing Construction Equipment as in Loaders, Excavators, Rock trucks, Skids steers etc.
- Experience with major brands such as (CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, Hitachi etc.)
- Inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions and repair as needed
- Completes all maintenance and repair activities in a safe manner and ensures work area is clean and organized according to company policies and procedures.
- Conducts business on behalf of Ridgeline Equipment Ltd. in a professional manner and represents Ridgeline Equipment’s culture to ensure fulfillment of company vision and values.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
What We Need From YOU:
- A desire to make a difference and take pride in your work
- A minimum of 3 years experience working with large construction and heavy-duty construction and drilling equipment,
- MUST include in depth experience with CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, and Hitachi
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills
- Superior mechanical aptitude
- Shop and/or field work experience
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team or alone in the field
- Ability to lift and manage 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be a certified Red Seal HD Mechanic
- Class 1 or 3 license is an asset but not required
- Must have own tools
- Preference will be given to applicants who have a minimal 3–5-year experience
- Be willing to travel and be away from home occasionally
- Willing to work in the field and in remote locations
