Position Requirements:
· Must be a Professional Engineer in Ontario and Design Tech supported.
· Experience in telecommunications industry (strongly desired).
· Should have very good understanding of basic computer concepts and technology. Expertise in any Quickpole, SpidaCalc, OCalc, PLS CAD is required.
· Should be proactive and a self-learner.
· Possess strong professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
· Analyze pole lines, calculations using SpidaCalc7.2, QP, Manual calculations and Aerial drawings.
Working on different UG Drawings (MC Permits), TRCAs, Internal drawings and construction drawings.
QC all CAD Team Drawings.
In charge of submissions and correspondence with approving authorities.
· Should have good attitude and ability to work independently and as a Team Leader.
· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
· Ability to communicate daily progress status to all reporting Project Managers.
Skills & Experience
